The experimental section is part of the Photomonth program in which the organizers attempt to stimulate fresh artistic expressions and a search for new ways of presenting them. In 2013 the organizers invited fashion professionals to work on the project. The result is a 200 page “Maj” magazine featuring articles, illustrations, visual essays and photo shoots. This single issue is a friendly jab thrown at the Polish fashion world, and an attempt at finding new ideas and solutions. The cover draws on the socialist-era “Ty i Ja” magazine.
