From Poland with Shorts
Studio Munka's project, organized as a part of the cultural program of the Polish presidency in the UE, covers a presentation of young Polish cinema in 4 chosen cities: Berlin, Paris, London and Moscow in Autumn of 2011. The programme comprises of short fims by young filmmakers that have been successful in recent years and who are currently working on their debut features. It has been a trend in recent years that the most interesting and bold Polish films were made by young filmmakers. It's also young filmmakers that shape the short film scene in Poland. Every year more names appear and one can even start talking about a Wave of Youth entering the market. It's time to present this phenomenon abroad.
